About myself
I was born in Poland in the city of Wroclaw. But I grew up in Crimea, went to school No 31 and graduated from the Crimean Federal University named after Vernadsky.
My father brought me to the boxing match at the age of 6. My whole family is into this kind of sport. And I really liked boxing, especially after I began to devote more time to defense. I loved the feeling of being unable to get hit, when my opponent had helplessness in his eyes.
I draw strength before a fight from motivation and good music. I motivate myself by the fact that a lot of work has been done. That’s why I have to work hard, otherwise it’s all in vain. Sometimes I watch different videos on motivation. Music motivates me, I listen to it a lot, but it has to be meaningful. Plus, my huge motivation is Oleksandr Usyk. He is a great man! When you work with him as a team, it motivates you. And my brother also motivates me. I really want to achieve my goal and make him proud of me! I recover after the match, having slept for a very long time.
My hobbies are kicking a ball or playing tennis. I read books for pleasure. Recently, I’ve started to write poems. There are hidden talents somewhere in me. I have not discovered them yet, but I think they are in there, and not just one 🙂
My short-term plans are to finish this boot camp and perform well in London. And then we’ll see. My main goal in life is to become the undisputed world champion. But this is not an easy goal and I need to work hard! That’s why I’m satisfied with just a little for now, but sometimes I think about greater things. A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step! I only have this quote in my head after I heard it for the first time, and it remains in my memory.
