Professional boxing returns to Ukraine: Big Boxing Night, debut of Oleksandr Usyk’s company USYK-17 PROMOTIONS

After a long quarantine, the USYK-17 PROMOTIONS team made a decent debut by organizing the Big Boxing Night. This event was bright and large-scale, raising the bar of organizing boxing evenings in Ukraine to a new level

On August 1, 2020, 13 bouts were held on the territory of the "Equides" park-hotel complex near Kyiv, in which already famous athletes and debutants of professional boxing took part

In the preliminary card, Zoravor Petrosian, Oleksandr Solomennikov and Dmytro Bezus won on points. Andrii Isakov and Stanislav Kutin won inside distance in rounds 3 and 5, respectively

Daniel Lapin, a USYK-17 PROMOTIONS fighter, made his debut in the main card in the professional ring, defeating Siarhei Krapshyla from Belarus on points

Victor Vykhryst defeated Semen Pakhomov by TKO in the second round

Ukrainians Oleg Malinovsky and Dmytro Mytrofanov were stronger than their opponents from Belarus and the Czech Republic, respectively

Oleksandr Zakhozhiy defeated Kostiantyn Dovbyshchenko by decision

Andrii Velikovsky defeated Ruslan Schelev by TKO in the fifth round

Petro Ivanov defeated Roman Shkarupa by unanimous decision

Vlad Sirenko defeated Pavlo Krolenko by TKO in the main event of the evening

Note the bright show program of the evening: performances by rapper Seryoga, Vasyl Zhadan and Zlata Ognevich. And, of course, really cool boxing fans should not be left unmentioned! Thanks for the emotions!
