Vitaliy Klitschko named Oleksandr Usyk the best boxer of our time

Former WBC heavyweight world champion, Ukrainian Vitaliy Klitschko, during his interview on the YouTube channel of the famous journalist Dmitry Gordon, spoke about who he considers the best boxers of our time, noting his compatriot, the reigning WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk.

“There are no everlasting champions. There will never be the strongest one of all time. You can be strong only at a certain time and in a short period of time. In today’s time frame, there are two fighters who have shown serious boxing. These are Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk. Today, they are both the best boxers in the world. Everywhere there is a number of speculative materials about the Usyk vs. Fury fight, but first Sasha needs to have a rematch with Anthony Joshua. But we are looking forward to the future fight between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury for the title of absolute world champion and we hope for Sasha’s victory,” said Vitaliy.

It is worth reminding that Usyk won his titles on September 25 in England, where he beat the British fighter Anthony Joshua by unanimous decision. In the contract of this fight, there was an option of immediate rematch, which the Briton plans to use next spring.
