The WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk played a football match at the Winter Cup friendly tournament for FC Polissya Zhytomyr.
“I always dreamed of playing for a professional team when I was still a kid who was training. But it so happened that I took up boxing, a wonderful sport. Well, at the age of 35, my childhood dream has come true,” Usyk said after the match.
On February 4, Turkey hosted a football match between Polissya and FC Veres (Rivne, Ukraine), which ended with a score of 2:1 in favor of Polissya.
