Famous British promoter Eddie Hearn said that a rematch between former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua and Ukrainian WBA, IBF and WBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk could take place in May.
“There is no doubt that Joshua will have his next fight again with Usyk. Most likely it will take place in May. We are now deciding where exactly this fight may take place. Now we are ready to accept such a high-profile event both in the Far East, and in the USA and Great Britain. But I would like it to take place in the UK,” Hearn said.
Recall that the first fight between Usyk and Joshua ended with the victory of the Ukrainian by unanimous decision of the judges based on the results of the entire distance of the 12-round fight.
