Ukrainian promoter Oleksandr Krasiuk in an interview with SkySports said that the team of the reigning WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk is determined to hold a rematch with former British champion Anthony Joshua in the next fight, and not to unify the titles with WBC champion Tyson Fury.
“That’s right. Our next fight will be against Joshua. This is our choice! Some conversations with Fury are still ongoing, but our priority is a rematch with Joshua in the next fight,” Krasiuk said.
It is worth reminding that the first fight between Usyk and Joshua took place in September of this year and ended in victory by a unanimous decision in favor of Usyk.
