Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk, the WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO heavyweight champion of the world, answered a question in one of his interviews about Tyson Fury’s weak points, which the WBC champion of Great Britain may have had during the fight with the former American world champion Deontay Wilder.
“We crossed paths with Fury several times, but I have never spoken to him in person. To be honest, I was not looking for any of his weak points while watching this fight, since we will go through it in detail together with the coach in preparation for the fight. I believe that a top priority is to think about yourself and your preparation.” said Usyk.
It is worth reminding that in October 2021, Fury defeated Wilder in the trilogy, knocking him out in the 11th round. As for Usyk, he had defeated former world champion Anthony Joshua by unanimous decision a few weeks before, taking away three heavyweight titles from him.
