The WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO heavyweight champion of the world, Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk, announced that he is ready to fight for the absolute championship with the British WBC title holder Tyson Fury. That could happen in case if former UK world champion Anthony Joshua is willing to step aside and temporarily abandon the rematch, which is slated for spring 2022.
“There has been a lot of talk about this since Fury defeated Wilder in the trilogy. I’m ready to fight Fury if the money is right. And, of course, if Anthony Joshua is willing to let the fight happen,” Usyk said.
